Healthy living and exercise to me isn’t something you do, it’s part of who you are!

My aim is to Equip, Inspire, and Transform every person I have the privilege of training, which in the long run causes them to be healthy, lean and strong.

I am an Australian born female personal trainer currently living in North London. I have been a personal trainer since 2005, and living in London since 2007. I am a successful fitness model competitor as well as female personal trainer and, completely devoted to helping people improve their lives through exercise, fitness and nutrition.

Since 2013 I have strived to get to the point where I can offer you the quality service I  know is desperately needed in the fitness industry. This journey started by leaving  the gym environment –  as I wasn’t happy that I could provide what I wanted for my clients. Deciding to move out on my own was great and gave me the desire and ability to focus, and provide more for my clients.   Moving forward has meant establishing an environment were my clients get the results I know are possible and I know they should be able to achieve.

I am aware for many, 1-2-1 personal training  is expensive, and I feel may not be as productive as other methods. I know to get great results you need to train 3-4 times a week. My prefer method, is to encourage my clients to train in small groups.  To this end, I started a bootcamp programme  in 2014 – which successfully continues alongside other programmes I provide for my clients. Initially, I found myself still wanting more for each client to help them build up their strength, mobility, flexibility, health and lose weight.  So, at first, the bootcamp consisting of larger groups was a difficult setting to do this –  although all my clients made improvements.

Then came the opportunity to open Fitness Hub 21 – since 2016 it is all I have talked about and I am so excited to open up for you an opportunity to take your training to another level.

Small group personal training, I believe, is the way the industry is going over: 1-2-1 training, and large group training. You get the same 1-2-1 personal training session that I offer my higher paying clients but you share the coaching and training between 4 people.

I have seen how small group personal training, encourages much harder training in these groups, less distraction, clear direction, ability to work on building strength, developing sound technique and really getting the gains you want to achieve but can’t do on your own, or in a large group, or training via a 1-2-1 personal training session a week because that’s all you can afford to do.

My aim is to Equip, Inspire, and Transform every person I have the privilege of training which in the long run causes them to be healthy, lean and strong.

For me Fitness and Sport have always been a number one passion for as long as I can remember. I started competing in track and field at the age of 4. My best events growing up in Australia, where 5km cross country, 200m, 400m and 800m. I love running and excelled at it until an injury at the age of 17 ended any hope of making it my life and career. To utilise my passion and love for sport, I decided to complete a degree in sports science which ultimately led me into the world of personal training.

For me, being lean, fit, and healthy was easy until I went to university. I contracted glandular fever and my health started to decline and slowly over 5 years I went from a skinny 8.5 stone to a much fatter 12.5 stone. I had to learn to practice what I was preaching and learning.  In 6 months I went from a size 14 to a size 10. My body fat dropped and my health was restored (see transformation photos).

I am committed to helping each and every person achieve their desired fat loss goals, with an emphasis not only on training and looking good, but on whole body health and hormonal balance, that has them feeling amazing from the inside out. At university, I learnt about the importance of nutrition and supplements and how we cannot always take our health for granted.

I learned that you truly do ‘reap what you sow’ in all walks of life.  On this continuous journey the lessons I have learned, are the motivation assets/tools I use to guide my clients towards achieving their goals in health and fitness.  I continue to set personal goals for myself, for example, in Feb 2010 I decided to compete in my first fitness model competition. I was ready to achieve a new goal and set out to transform my body yet again.

For this competition, in 4 months I went from 20% body fat to 10% body fat, and in May 2010 I achieved what I had set out to do and competed at ‘Fame 2010’.   By competing, I overcame a strong anxiety about being in the public eye and proved to myself that I have the courage to get up on stage. This experience fuelled my desire to compete and win more fitness/figure competitions in the future. Life is a journey, we all need to participate and get involved. Watching others achieve their goals is great as we should cheer them on, but doing it for yourself will change you forever.
